Five Tips for Engaging Your Board in Fundraising

One thing I’ve gone over and over again seems to speak with managers and development directors is that board members do not want to be involved in fundraising. And in some cases, they are not to blame. They were recruited because someone thought he had said yes – not because of passion for the cause. They assured him that all you have to do is attend meetings. And we get what we want.
